Client Services Director (Full-time)
The Pregnancy Support Services of Hamilton (PSSH) is a pregnancy care centre located in downtown Hamilton. We provide education, caring support and give practical assistance to women and their partners as they face important decisions about their unplanned pregnancy and sexual integrity. Our services consist of pregnancy options counseling, post abortion recovery workshops, post adoption grief counseling, male mentoring, a clothing room for maternity and children's clothing, and a community educational program, S.H.A.R.E.. PSSH offers an environment where people make a difference in the lives of women, men, families and students in our community.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Client Service Director will be responsible for the oversight of the client service function of PSSH that will include, but not be limited to:
 Meeting with clients with pre or post pregnancy concerns to give information, support and counsel;  Identifying ways to help meet the spiritual, life skill and practical needs of our clients;  Coordinating and facilitating client education and programs;  Recruiting & training volunteers, and;  Identifying and networking with other professionals/agencies in the community to enhance and promote programs

Qualifications and Capabilities:
The successful candidate will exhibit the following:
 Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord  Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position and sexual purity  Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Principle, Statement of Faith, and Policies of the Centre  Be self-motivated, dependable, and responsible

I. Spiritual Leadership  Praying with all volunteers during their shifts  Discipling volunteers by participating with the Centre Director in teaching volunteers how to witness to clients within the context of the Centre  Encouraging volunteers in spiritual growth  Exploring Scripture with volunteers as relates to ministry, under the direction of the executive director  Modelling Christ-likeness

II. Administration & Management  Minimum 2 year diploma, Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a social services or counselling focus  Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a related field with proven counselling and management experience  Possesses strong interpersonal communication and problem solving skills  Has well developed computer skills (Word, Excel, and other relevant software)  Is proactive in identifying needs and acting on opportunities to serve our clients and the volunteers who support them  Is able to work with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and intended ministry outcomes;  Has proven leadership abilities and strong people skills  Is able to capably and sensitively represent the Centre through well-developed written and oral communication skills  Possesses well-developed organizational abilities with a keen ability to attend to and manage details and ensure accuracy of work assignments  Assist in connecting with donors  Speaking engagements to represent the Centre.  Media relations in absense of Centre Director  Attending community networking meetings and promoting Centre to other agencies as required
