Job Description: This person will serve in a variety of capacities in the Youth Ministry program. The primary role will be to manage and oversee the day-to-day programming in Youth Min, in the Director’s absence, and to assist when the Director is on-site. This role will include developing and implementing solid, Bible-based curriculum, develop and lead godly leaders, administration, and programming for the duration of our summer conference. This position also includes interacting with parents and responding to parental requests/concerns, experience with special needs, and managing any emergency or crisis that may arise in the Youth Min program.

The candidate must able to work closely with the Youth Ministry Director, and independently.

• Education: Post-secondary youth ministry training; Program Planning courses an asset

• Experience: Leading youth in outdoor and indoor settings, classroom, church, camp or sports; Leading Bible studies, teaching, activities, evangelism, missions; Working in a team setting - complement one another and assist as needed.

Muskoka Bible Centre's seasonal staff participate in Stepping Stones, a 2-4 month residential discipleship experience, which aims to bring youth towards maturity in Christ by Renewing their relationship with God, Connecting them to a healthy community, and Equipping them to do God's work. We recruit 100 + youth (15-25 yrs) for our spring/summer program. We provide life-changing experiences through practical service work, intentional training, leadership development and an encouraging community of believers. It is our hope to build up a new generation of God-directed leaders and equip all participants to actively serve the Lord in their home communities.
