POSITION PURPOSE: To develop and lead the summer camp ministry at Wilmar Heights Baptist Church (Junior K to grade 9); its vision, mission, purpose and strategies to be consistent with the overall mission, vision and core values of Wilmar Heights Baptist Church.

MINISTRY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Camp Director will be a 35 hours/a week paid position from May till August.

The Camp Director will plan, develop and organize summer program that will attractive both the children and youth of Wilmar and the unchurched children and youth in our community.

Responsible for administration, curriculum( lesson planning), planning trips, negotiation, record keeping, and advertising.

Provide leadership, recruit staff, train and support counselors and volunteers for effective summer ministry.

Will be reporting directly to the Youth Director

Maintain connection with Parents

Skills needed: Client service, communication, digital skills and team work

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION:

University or College student

Leadership experience in Camp is strongly desired.

Passionate about the spiritual, emotional and physical development of

Children/Youth.

Spirit-filled, devoted follower of Christ.

ACCOUNTABILITY:

The Camp Director accountable to the Youth Director
