The Hospitality department’s primary responsibility is to provide excellent customer service and hospitality to our guests and staff. Hospitality staff help to provide a seamless experience by serving the needs of the guests, noticing details, taking initiative to ensure staff and guests feel cared for, and creating a clean and inviting environment for all.
Our Camp Store is open to staff and guests on a daily basis selling snacks, drinks, coffee, clothing, and merchandise. The primary role of Camp Store Supervisor, alongside our full-time Camp Store Manager, is to create a fun and productive environment for our young staff while providing excellent customer service to our staff and guests. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: leading and managing staff, supervising shifts, reconciling tills, receiving and managing inventory, cleaning and organizing the store and working along with the staff.
A typical shift is varied throughout the week 8:00am – 4:00pm, 9:00am – 5:00pm, 10:00am – 6:00pm and 12:00pm – 8:00pm. Leadership staff are regularly assigned to the Night Watch schedule, the Dining Room Maitre’d schedule, are required to lead a staff small group, and conduct One 2 One’s.
Leadership staff are regularly assigned to the Shutdown schedule and the Dining Room Maitre'd schedule.
Leadership staff also contribute to the overall ministry to staff and are required to lead a staff small group and conduct One 2 One's.
All leadership staff contribute to alternate duties on guest arrival and departure days as well as the weekend stayover program.
Staff are required to attend all meetings as outlined during staff training including Cadence and Small Group.
Staff are required to abide by all COVID-19 standard operating procedures including enhanced cleaning and sanitation protocols within their department, in assigned areas outside of their department, and in all community living/gathering spaces.

Muskoka Woods is looking for staff whose personal values match the MW Core Values which includes having a passion for working with children and youth.
Camp Store Supervisor applicants must have leadership experience, a customer service mindset, be able to take initiative, and be attentive to details. Applicants must also have the desire to work with young staff and to create a positive, encouraging and fun atmosphere. Camp Store staff must have proficient math skills. Experience within the Retail industry is preferred.
$185 - $215 per week plus room and board

- Have physical strength & ability to lift/move small and large objects (ie. vacuum cleaner, garbage bags, boxes, and inventory)
- Possess the ability to work for 7- 9 hours at a time
- Ability to participate in work projects – lifting and carrying between 10 – 30 lbs
- Be able to stoop, bend, and crouch
