This internship provides hands-on experience in youth ministry, discipleship, teaching, leadership, and ministry administration within Oxford Baptist Church in Woodstock. The intern will work closely with our current youth pastor, as well as, students, parents, and volunteer leaders to help create a welcoming and engaging youth ministry for both Junior High and Senior High students. Responsibilities will include connecting with students, planning and teaching youth night teaching series, preparing presentation materials, coordinating youth night schedules and volunteer leaders, and helping organize games, activities, worship, prayer, and teaching components. The intern will also gain experience in youth ministry administration, including communicating with parents and leaders, organizing waivers and consent forms, ensuring volunteer leaders meet Plan to Protect requirements, and coordinating registrations and payments. Additional responsibilities could include planning and coordinating youth events and trips, communicating with venues and destinations, arranging transportation, recruiting leaders, and coordinating fuel and mileage reimbursement. This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in pastoral ministry, youth ministry, discipleship, to gain practical experience while also serving alongside an established church and youth ministry team.
