Camp Promise is looking to receive applications from interested individuals and has two year round positions open for successful

Job Description:
Overseeing, administrating and implementing year-round ministry to children, youth and their families living in the older east end of
Barrie, Ontario Canada.
Successful applicants will be carefully mentored into their roles by our current founder and Executive Director with ongoing support
as needed.

 Camp Promise Barrie has been operating for 6 years
 Camp Promise is a Para Church ministry in partnership with local churches
 Camp Promise Barrie is a registered charity with CRA
 Camp Promise Barrie provides no to low cost year round opportunities for children and youth
 Camp Promise Barrie addresses the needs of generational poverty, single parent families and has an inclusive environment
for children who otherwise have difficulties affording or fitting into regular programs. Not all, but many of our kids struggle
with autism spectrum disorder, cognitive delays, physical, emotional and behavioral challenges related to life
circumstances they were born into and have experienced, including trauma of all kinds.
 Camp Promise’s tag line is: “Fun , Learning and Adventure” because we offer all three, while living out the gospel in word
and action.
 Camp Promise offers national and international internships and has had 23 interns in 6 years as well as over 50 youth and
young adult volunteers
 Camp Promise’s Second Focus: Mentored Leadership Development for youth and young adults. A “being” and “doing”
philosophy of learning to lead by leading children.
 We care about the whole family and partner with families to support physically, emotionally and spiritually.
 We care about the community and partner with local schools, social service agencies, food banks and churches.
 We would welcome a shared role for two applicants in order to focus both on the front line daily needs and the
administrative needs of Camp Promise Barrie
