The Facility Supervisor will be primarily responsible for...

• Maintenance of the church building and grounds
• Planning and coordinating installations and improvements
• Working with vendors to ensure the fulfillment of contracts (snow removal, cleaning services, etc)
• Opening the Church on Sundays and ensuring all areas are ready for programming
• Ensuring Building Codes, Health & Safety, Fire, and Security standards are up-to-date

Qualifications

Spiritual

• Demonstrates a mature walk and submission to Jesus and commitment to His church
• Maintains and nurtures his/her own spiritual life through prayer and bible study
• Will work in harmony with existing leadership and direction, avoiding divisiveness
• A person of integrity with a demonstrated servant’s attitude
• A teachable attitude
• Be an active member, or willing to become an active member of Bayfair Baptist Church

Professional

• Previous experience as a facility supervisor would be a strong asset
• Knowledge in technical, maintenance methods, operating requirements as well as safety precautions related to facilities management
• Strong verbal and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• A person with a friendly disposition and ability to deal with conflict well
• Ability to get along with people and to work both independently as well as a team
• Liaise with the Elders and/or Deacons regarding building needs
