Title: FEB Central Communications Administrator
Position Type: Part-Time Hourly Employee
Job Overview
The Communications Administrator will support the mission of FEB Central through effective
communication with pastors, churches, and all the FEB Central staff. He/she will work with the FEB Central staff to help development of a strategic plan to communicate and promote the vision and goals of all FEB Central ministries.
Communications Administrator Responsibilities
• Help to develop and implement a strategic communication plan that will promote FEB Central ministries through various communication platforms.
• Maintain website content and execute social media strategies.
• Draft compelling content for newsletters, announcement and website. Assisting the regional director in writing regular communications and video scripts (sometimes as a ghostwriter).
• Write, edit, proofread communication materials, including brochures, articles, blog posts, and
social media.
• Manage the social media presence, including creating, posting and engaging with communication materials (e.g., newsletters, social media posts).
• Collaborate with departments to create visually appealing and effective external
communication materials.
• Provide regular insights and recommendations for improvement of media/articles/print
materials etc.
• Check data from platforms on message effectiveness and audience feedback to improve
Strategies.
• Work in collaboration with the larger FEB Central staff team.
Work Qualifications
• Exceptional organizational and planning abilities with an attention to detail.
• Strong strategic planning and management.
• Strong familiarity of communication tools and platforms.
• Able to work as the liaison between departments to facilitate transparent information
flow, including calendars of events, deadlines, etc.
• Experience in communications, marketing, or a related field.
• Knowledge of print and digital media strategies.
• Excellent editing, research, and content creation skills.
• Proficiency in software tools such as Mac OSX, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint,
Excel), and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Good listener and problem solver. Able to listen to feedback and problem solve, think critically and organize workflow
• Proficiency in English (required)

prioritize by assessing situations to determine urgency; ability to develop a work
schedule.
•Meet character qualifications for church leadership and complies with all
policies related to ethical standards
•Compatible with FEBCC doctrinal statement of faith and practice.
•In agreement with the FEB Central Region vision, mission and ministry plan.
•Member of a local FEB Central church
Accountability
The Communications Administrator reports directly to the FEB Central Regional Director.
Work Expectations
•Working conditions will comply with the Employment Standards Act of Ontario.•Employment expenses incurred within the budget will be reimbursed bysubmitting an expense report.•A working environment that is conducive to effectiveness.•In-person required.•All staff will read and sign the FEB Central Staff Policy Manual.•There will be an annual review of this position.•The FEB Central Communications Administrator position is part time. Hours are negotiable.Occasional overtime may be required; compensation will be in the form of hourly pay.
