Job Specifications:

The candidate will give oversight to online weekend experiences, special events and multi-camera production, while training and developing media volunteers. The candidate will also oversee the use and maintenance of video production equipment. The candidate will oversee all web and print media as well as email communications. 

Responsibilities:

Content Creation

  • Work as a part of our Experience Team to ideate media and graphic concepts 
  • Shoot & edit video content.
  • Collaborate with worship and creative leaders on major projects including large video shoots, Sunday experience elements, and special projects for major Sundays and events.
  • Organize and execute on-location video shoots.
  • Produce content for On the Couches, Real Talk with a Pastor, and other miscellaneous videos as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date as platforms change and evolve their offerings (playlists, stories, highlights, live video, etc).
  • Able to produce high quality video content with a quick turnaround.

Experience Production

  • Oversee all Video Production volunteers, training, and systems.
  • Assist in the leading and execution of all church experiences.
  • Lead, direct, and troubleshoot in a live, multi-camera production setting.
  • Monitor and respond to technical issues during Sunday morning experiences, including providing real-time feedback on camera shots, monitoring gear status, etc.
  • Schedule staff and volunteers to ensure appropriate support for each experience/event.
  • Create processes for keeping all video equipment in good working order, replacing pieces as necessary.

Webpage and marketing

  • Build and maintain multiple streams of advertising
  • Develop and execute campaigns to support church initiatives or values.
  • Oversee regular updates of the Movement Church website.
  • Craft and deliver regular church communications via text & email campaigns.
  • Maintain and grow Movement Church and Movement Worship email lists.
  • Review performance analytics of marketing channels to optimize ROI.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools.

Develop Highly Effective Volunteer Teams

  • Build a culture defined by love and unity.
  • Ensure all volunteers are in alignment with the mission, vision, core values, and culture of Movement Church. 
  • Recruit volunteers and train, lead, and direct them for maximum impact.
  • Cast vision regularly by sharing stories and celebrating wins.
  • Provide coaching and feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Identify and develop future leaders in the ministry area.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects).
  • Experience in DSLR video workflow.
  • Experience with shooting and editing videos on a deadline basis. 
  • Experience with Google Ads and Facebook Ads Manager platforms preferred.
  • Experience with Mailchimp platform.
  • Experience with WordPress platform.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work as a team player and discuss needs, challenges, and ideas.
  • Ability to think ahead, anticipate needs, and offer creative solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead volunteer teams.

Job Type: 

  • Full-time, 40 hours / week. Salaried
