Position Summary:
We are seeking a fully devoted follower of Jesus who is also dynamic and detail-oriented to join our team as a Mission Trip Coordinator & Administrative Specialist. This role involves organizing mission trips, managing administrative tasks, and nurturing donor relationships to ensure the sustainability of our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Mission Trip Coordination
- Plan, organize, and execute mission trips in partnership with local and international teams.
- Coordinate logistics such as travel, lodging, schedules, and project assignments.
- Serve as a point of contact for mission trip participants, providing guidance and support.
- Ensure all necessary documents (e.g., passports, waivers, medical releases) are prepared and submitted in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with field partners to align mission trip goals with community needs.
Administrative Support
- Manage day-to-day administrative operations, including scheduling, correspondence, donor input, and file management.
- Maintain accurate records of mission trip participants, expenses, and schedules.
- Prepare reports and presentations to support organizational leadership.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Donor Retention & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with donors through personalized and various communication and appreciation efforts.
- Assist in the development and implementation of donor retention strategies.
- Track donor contributions and provide regular updates on the impact of their support.
- Collaborate with the communications director to create donor-focused content, such as newsletters and thank-you letters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in [specific software, e.g., Microsoft Office, CRM platforms].
- A passion for global missions and a heart for serving others.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Experience in nonprofit administration or donor relations is an asset
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in a faith-based or nonprofit organization.
- Knowledge of cross-cultural engagement and mission strategies.
- Basic fundraising or donor development experience.
