Overview
OCAC is a disciple making church by reaching out to seekers, nurturing one another in Christ, and being an effective witness in Oakville. Our church community averages around 110 people each Sunday across English and Mandarin congregations.
This intern position usually will spend time with youth on Friday Gym night ( 2 hour), and Saturday youth fellowship(2 hour), to participate in youth discipleship and build relationships with youth. and of course, during our Sunday service ( from 12:30PM to 2:30PM)

The salary rate is $20/hour based on 10-14 hr/ week.

Term of this internship: can be 3 month or long term part time.

With help from youth pastor and leaders in the English Committee, this intern student will plan and teach Children Sunday School ( JK ~G4)(2 hours). He(she) will also have the opportunity to be discipled by the pastoral team to foster continued spiritual growth.
We hope to provide our intern with the opportunity to tailor the role to his/her desired ministry interests and goals. Intern meets with the Youth Pastor for one-on-one coaching to determine ministry development goals and to identify ministry opportunities to accomplish these goals.
This position can possibly lead to a long term part time coordinator in the Children/Youth ministry.
Potential ministry opportunities include
● Participate in Sunday morning operations
● Participate in Youth Fellowship and other youth activities
● Prayer ministry
● Children Ministry (JK – Grade 4)
