Church Profile:
Glenboro Bible Chapel is a rural, Associated Gospel Church in Glenboro, MB., gateway to beautiful Spruce Woods Provincial Park.  With an average attendance of 25-35 people, we serve the town and surrounding area.  The church offers Sunday School to all ages within the congregation and community, junior and senior youth groups, mission fundraisers (for causes both locally and abroad), VBS, personal care home services, and more.  GBC thrives on offering a close-knit fellowship of Christian believers.

Position Summary:
The Pastor will oversee the spiritual welfare and maturing of the congregation (as a whole and as individuals), conduct regular services, and work with the Council to provide oversight on ministries while helping to develop a growing connection with our community.


  • Prepare and preach a weekly sermon; oversee Sunday services; administer ordinances
  • Minister to church: pray for/with, encourage and support congregation (including visitation as needed)
  • Minister to community: personal care home services, outreach
  • Guide/develop church ministries
  • Other duties as required including: maintain own personal spiritual growth, attend meetings


  • The Pastor should be an effective speaker and have interest in pastoral care and the ability to equip the congregation to reach the community. The Pastor should be able to work as a solo pastor and as part of a diverse team of congregational members. The Pastor must be in agreement with the Constitution of Glenboro Bible Chapel.
  • A degree from a recognized theological college and previous experience are both preferred but not required. Successful applicant should enjoy living and working in a rural community.

This position is a part-time position (hours somewhat negotiable). Compensation will be commensurate with training and experience, and will be fairly negotiated.
