City Revival Church is a Christian Church  located in downtown Toronto, Ontario. At City Revival Church, we believe we are God’s beloved. He demonstrated this by giving up His only Son, Jesus Christ, for you and me. Because of the revelation of this truth, we are transformed from the inside out by His grace. And because of His grace, we are reaching out with a message of hope, faith & and love to empower a generation to win the world for Christ.

Our church service starts at 10:30 AM every Sunday.

City Revival Church is currently seeking the right candidate to be one of the Pastors to provide leadership and vision alongside the elders for the church. The right candidate will have a deep personal life in Christ and the character and capacity that align with the church’s overall mission and vision. Below are the qualifications and responsibilities we have identified for this role:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as the  Pastor on Sunday mornings during our regular scheduled services as well as irregular services and programs.
Create and maintain an exciting, engaging environment for people to encounter God through community and discipleship.
Lead and facilitate weekly Sunday morning services by coordinating with the Staff and Ministry Team Leads.
Provide counseling services consistent with the values of the church and church policy.
Supervise the administrative function of the church office staff.
Work alongside the elders in shepherding/feeding the members of the church.
Attend regular elders and deacons’ meetings.
Develop evangelistic strategies that encourage the church body to participate.
Follow up with every new guest that attends and create an assimilation process that is personal and effective.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Be able to communicate effectively and clearly God’s Word to the congregation.
Be a passionate, competent teacher of the Bible and foundations of the Christian faith and be willing to seek further education and skills as necessary and/or appropriate.
Have a deep genuine concern for the care and feeding of the congregation.
Can connect with people relationally and foster healthy interpersonal relationships among the people.
Possess the ability to teach/model how Scripture informs our lives and how we live.
Be knowledgeable of and committed to the New Covenant Church.
Have a basic understanding of the principles of counseling and be aware of the resources available.
Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
Ability to lead and manage a staff effectively.

EDUCATION:

Highly preferred that the degree is from a Christian school.
Experience
Preferred candidates will have 3+ years in a high-capacity leadership setting in ministry.
