We are currently looking for a Project Manager within the Project Management Office department.

Summary/ Purpose:

The Project Manager is a detail-oriented individual who can manage a project from initiation to completion and ensure that each project is completed on time and at or under budget using project management tools & principles (Initiate, Plan, Execute, monitor and Close). The Project Manager will also be responsible for creating work plans including milestones, Dashboards, Process maps and Resource estimates etc. The Project Manager should be able to track using Smartsheet and utilize project data to create summary reports for the Project Director and make future projects more productive and cost-efficient.

Detail Oriented: Attention to detail is critical due to different aspects of the project need to be managed and overseen simultaneously, all of which are important to its well-being and success.

Takes Initiative: The project manager is going to lead and manage projects and therefore, it is crucial that the project manager takes initiative to uphold their responsibilities without having to be micromanaged.

Good Communicator: Think of the project manager as the bridge connecting the project director to various other projects, therefore superior communications skill is a must.

Productive: Projects demand productivity from its participants; therefore, productivity must be modelled and lived out by the project manager.

Result Oriented: The ability to lead, focus and support others to meet deadlines and accomplish tasks on time; scheduling and budgeting is a key success factor for this role.

Duties & Responsibilities:

-Ensure various teams have the tools required to meet project milestones
-Create project schedules and detailed work plans
-Assist in documenting project phases and creating summary reports for the Project Director
-Work with different task forces/ teams to handle project issues as they arise
-Build strong relationships by being a team player to ensure everyone is successful in meeting their goals on a project


-Hold a solid and vibrant Christian faith. Regular attendance at a recognized church or worshipping community
-Agree with and support The Scott Mission’s Statement of Faith, Goals and Objectives and Philosophy of Ministry
-Bachelor’s degree minimum; PMP or related professional designations an asset
-4+ years proven experience as a project manager or in similar role in business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development
-Demonstrated knowledge of core business process and operations (Non-Profit/Charity).
Strong leadership skills
-Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Microsoft Project, Visio, Prezi, Smartsheet or other project management tools
-Business Process Experience; CRM, BI, Master Data Management etc.
-Excellent communication skills both oral and written
-Ability to motivate, manage deliverables and keep projects on track
-Extremely organized and focused
-Propensity for multi-tasking, result oriented and deadline driven
-Detail oriented, takes initiative and Good communicator
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
