Position Description
The Housing Manager will oversee the daily operations of Fight4Freedom’s Safe House, ensuring it is a safe, stable, and empowering environment for survivors. This role combines property management with trauma-informed care coordination, leading a team to support residents in their recovery and reintegration journey.

Key Responsibilities
Facility & Operations Management
Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Safe House, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and adherence to occupancy regulations.
Manage house maintenance and repairs in coordination with contractors and vendors.
Maintain an organized system for inventory, supplies, and budget tracking.
Enforce house rules, policies, and schedules to promote communal harmony.

Resident Care & Support
Collaborate with the Survivor Care team to develop and monitor individualized support plans for residents.
Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution support as needed.
Foster a supportive and trauma-informed atmosphere aligned with Fight4Freedom’s values.
Coordinate resident move-ins, move-outs, and orientation processes.

Staff Supervision & Leadership
Supervise and support housing staff, volunteers, and interns assigned to the Safe House.
Provide regular team check-ins, scheduling, and performance feedback.
Facilitate ongoing training in trauma-informed care, de-escalation, and community living practices.

Collaboration & Reporting
Maintain accurate and confidential resident files and house records.
Work closely with community partners, case managers, and outreach workers to ensure wrap-around support.
Submit monthly reports to the Director of Survivor Care, including updates on residents, incidents, and maintenance needs.

Qualifications
Required:
Minimum 3 years of experience in housing management, social services, or residential care.
Strong understanding of trauma-informed practices and boundaries in community living environments.
Proven ability to manage crises and make sound, compassionate decisions.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Preferred:
Degree or diploma in Social Work, Community Services, or a related field.
Experience working with survivors of trafficking or gender-based violence.
Familiarity with Christian faith-based approaches to care and support.
CPR/First Aid and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification.
