We are passionate about seeing kids and youth reached with the Gospel and discipled in their walk with Christ. This passion shapes our eight weeks of camp ministry that we run each summer.

         We’re hiring a camp cook for our 2023 camps. The camp cook is responsible for preparing meals and managing kitchen supplies. The camp cook is an important member of our staff team not only because they provide the good food that keeps camp running, but they also have a big impact on our leaders in training students who help in the kitchen and interact with the cook regularly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing meals following a prepared menu for up to 60 people
• Working with the Kitchen Manager to ensure that kitchen and food supplies are always adequately stocked
• Maintaining the cleanliness of food preparation areas

Qualifications and Skills:

• Follower of Jesus with a passion for the Gospel
• Proficient in cooking
• Organizational skills
• Able to handle the physical demands of long hours in cooking (10-12 hour days)
• Current Food Handler Certificate

Additional Details:

• Camps run from July 2-August 25 (Sunday afternoons through Friday)
• Compensation is $18/hour
• Accommodation can be provided at no cost
