Description
Calvary Baptist Church Oshawa is looking to add to our worship arts staff. The position we are looking to fill is that of intern or ministry associate of Worship Arts (subject to experience and ability). This candidate should be sensing the call to pastoral ministry in his life.
WORSHIP ARTS INTERN OR MINISTRY ASSOCIATE (FULL-TIME)
At Calvary we take the Great Commission seriously and promise people who connect with us that our ministry model will be about Making Disciples of Jesus Christ. We believe that Christ will grow the church (Matt. 16:18) and that we are commanded to make disciples (Matt. 28:19-20).
We are looking for a candidate for this full-time position who is a deeply devoted and committed follower of Jesus and is passionate about seeing God’s kingdom advance. This person needs to have the understanding of and ability to lead people in musical worship of the King! This team player will need to be (or become) an active member of Calvary and fully engaged in our priorities of worship, community and advance of the gospel.
General job responsibilities include (but not limited to):
-supporting the musical worship events (services, concerts, etc…) through the year
-leading musical worship in services as required
-working with band, singers, choir
-working with tech (sound, lighting, projection, video)
