GracePoint is currently looking to fill the position of Youth Director.

GracePoint is a vibrant, growing, multicultural, intergenerational church community located in Toronto.

The primary responsibilities of this staff position are as follows:

• Developing and implementing an outreach strategy designed to engage youth from the surrounding community.
• Developing and implementing a discipleship strategy designed to encourage and equip Christian youth to become fully devoted followers of Christ.
• Developing a comprehensive, well-balanced program of biblical instruction and social activities.
• Recruit, train, mobilize, and provide ongoing support to a ministry team of adult youth leaders.
• Establish specific, measurable yearly ministry goals.
• Assume the role of primary teacher in the youth ministry.
• Provide periodic retreat opportunities, and short term mission experiences, for students.
• Submit an annual budget to the Finance Committee/Board, and oversee budget expenditures.

The position requirements include:

• Clear testimony of personal faith in Jesus Christ
• Having been baptized by immersion as a believer
• Acceptance of the church’s Statement of Faith and church leadership
• Ethical Lifestyle Policy
• Strong Christian witness
• Experience in leading church based youth ministry
• Canadian citizenship

The position status is:

• 20 hours per week, but with the possibility of additional hours if the candidate is suitable to serve in other areas of ministry.
