Faith Baptist Church Oakville is looking for an individual who is interested in pursuing ministry. This person should be a passionate believer, willing to learn, enjoys working with youth (grades 6-12), and desires to see them grow in their relationship with Christ.

Job Overview

The Youth Intern will contribute to the spiritual growth of youth in grades 6-12 by supporting existing programs and initiatives. Under the supervision of the elders, the youth intern will also participate with other ministry projects and be guided by a mentorship program to foster personal and professional development.

Job Description

The job requirements are:

• Work with the Elder of Ministry of Care to create and implement youth curriculum, lead Bible studies, and maintain communication with parents.
• Build relationships with youth to encourage their spiritual and personal growth.
• Collaborate with other ministries to engage youth in broader church initiatives while operating under supervision and leadership.
• Meet regularly with the ministry lead for professional guidance.
• Complete assigned readings to support professional and theological development.

Additional Requirements:

• Police background check
• Theologically aligned with Faith Baptist Church and willing to sign and affirm its Statement of Faith.

Start Date:       ASAP

Hours:             15-20 hours a week (during school year)
40 hours a week (during summer)
