Youth Intern Position

Chinese Gospel Church Scarborough’s English congregation is looking for an individual who wishes to be involved in ministry with youth.  This person should be passionate about building relationships with youth, leading them to Christ and helping them grow in discipleship and service.

Our youth program (grades 8-12) currently has about 20 youth attending fellowship on Friday nights.

The job requirements are:

• Develop and teach lessons for Friday fellowship
• Organize a team of volunteers
• Take the lead on the Friday fellowship schedule
• Meet with youth outside of fellowship for more direct discipleship
• Coordinate teaching topics with the Sunday Youth team

Additional Requirements

• Police background check
• Agreement with the AGC statement of faith

Experience:        Some ministry experience is essential, but paid ministry experience, and experience in Chinese or cross-cultural ministry is an asset.

Start Date:          Summer or Fall 2022

Hours:                   10-15 hours a week (depending upon availability)

Pay:                       Will be based on previous experience and education
