Our church is looking to hire a part-time (10 hours a week to start) Youth Pastor/Director.  The role will cover both Jr. High (grades 6-8) and Sr. High (grades 9-12).

You will be working with a small team of youth volunteers (6-8 adults).  Communication and planning with this team is a critical skill.

Our youth groups meet on Friday evening.  Planning the evening event as well as preparing and teaching Bible lessons is a necessary skill. Outreach and ministry expansion into the surrounding Innisfil community is a high priority.  You will be required to develop evangelistic and service skills with the youth who will be attending the group.

Outside of Friday evenings, we expect attendance at our Sunday morning worship service and to integrate into the larger church family.  The Jr. Highs have a Sunday school class during the Sunday sermon slot.  You will be responsible for ensuring the classroom has a teacher for every Sunday and will be expected to take a turn teaching in that rotation.
There is an opportunity to work with the worship team if your personal skill set includes musical ability.

You will be working with a Lead Pastor who has 25+ years in ministry with a heart to develop pastors in both skill and integrity.
