P/T Children's Pastor (Salary Info Included)

McKenzie Towne Church (MTC) | 20-25hrs / Week

MTC is excited to announce we are looking to hire a new Part-Time Childrens Pastor. MTC is a community church located in SE Calgary & we are passionate about leading people into a deeper relationship with Jesus! The Location: MTC is located in the charming community of McKenzie Towne - we absolutely love our community! You can walk to coffee shops & local restaurants from our church's doorstep. Our church is primarily made up of people from the area, which means most people live within a reasonable distance from the church. An added bonus is we are a short drive to the beautiful Rocky Mountains.

Your Role: The focus of this position is to lead the Family ministry area of McKenzie Towne Church (MTC) through building effective relationships and providing strong leadership to key stakeholders including, but not limited to, Family Ministry staff, families/kids, volunteers, and all leaders associated with MTC Church.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a ministry philosophy, program, and working plan that is MTC specific and effective.
• Cast and implement the vision for the weekend childrens ministry programs, events, and resources.
• In partnership with the Family Ministries Staff, recruit quality and passionate volunteer teams to facilitate the weekend programs that includes young leaders and adult leaders.
• Encourage, equip, and mentor the volunteer teams and Family Ministry staff.

• a mature & growing faith in Jesus Christ along with a love for all people
• a deep passion, calling, experience & proficiency in leading volunteer teams
• strong interpersonal skills with experience working in a dynamic team environment
• strong competencies in leadership, communication, collaboration & shepherding
