Harbour is a church that is committed to sharing the gospel, making disciples, planting churches and building leaders. We are passionate about making disciples and multiplying disciples and desire to be a community that lives deep; obeying all that Jesus commanded and to "...become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ" (Eph 4:13).

We are a healthy and growing church with strong and thriving discipleship groups. Located in St.Catharines, Ontario, Harbour is in the heart of the Niagara Region. In Niagara there are 400,000 people far from God. Believing that the harvest is plentiful, our church lives on mission to reach our community. We are boldly sharing Jesus in our community and by God's grace have started 3 churches in the last 5 years. In the midst of all that God is doing, we read Acts 14:22 "strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith..." and as we remain obedient to the command to make disciples of all nations, God is opening doors for us to partner with people, organizations and churches all across Ontario to build His kingdom.

Harbour has run a Summer Ministry Internship Program for the past 9 years. We are dedicated to investing in the lives of the students, giving them a summer experience that cultivates skills that will last a lifetime. The Summer Camp Director postion is a 16 week, full time role.

Responsibilities:

Supervisor to Staff and Volunteers
 Develop working plan and weekly goals for Summer Camp Interns
 Supervises Summer Camp Interns and provides daily tasks and direction
 Recruits, trains and develops Summer Camp volunteers
 Assist with SLP Training and supervision

Summer Camp
 Oversee delivery of Summer Camp program including camp day activities, bookings and environment
 Oversee camp administration including registrations, camp day schedule and volunteer communication
 Delivers program in a fun and easy to understand way that is consistent with Harbour’s Statements ofFaith
 Establishes relationships with families and provides opportunities for next steps

Other
 Participate in Sunday morning service as needed
 Awareness of Harbour Family Ministry Policies and implementation of child abuse protection policies
 Demonstrates good stewardship of church finances through adherence to budget
 Plays an active role in advertising and marketing of summer camp to reach maximum capacity
