Title: Summer Children's Ministry Coordinator
Location: London, Ontario
Congregation: London Korean Christian Church (lkcc.ca). We are in the Presbyterian Church in Canada (Eastern Han-Ca Presbytery)

Position: Children's summer ministry director
Time Commitment: Estimated to be roughly 8 weeks from July to August, Full-Time, but it is negotiable. The exact time commitment will be decided on between the applicant and Session with the senior minister.
Main Responsibilities: The summer ministry director trains summer interns (10 ppl) and volunteers to organize and execute a two-week Summer Bible Camp (VBS) of full day "Start the Party: Celebrate the Good News!" This camp features worship, stations (craft, snack, game, music), community lunch, field trips, and much more. Furthermore, the summer ministry director is responsible for developing and leading the weekly Sunday school program throughout the summer (resources provided) for children in JK to grade 5. We expect there to be ten summer interns (ages 15-30) to help with all summer activities, and the summer ministry director is expected to offer pastoral care and leadership for them. Finally, the summer ministry director will have the opportunity and freedom to plan and lead other events and activities throughout the summer that align with the mission and goals of the position.
Communication:
• Work in partnership with all staff, and collaborate with immediate supervisor
• Log and report hours, and track and report the summer ministry budget
• Attend weekly Sunday services during employment
• Communicate with volunteers, and lead training sessions and daily team meetings during camp
• Connect and Communicate with parents/guardians
