POSITION SUMMARY

Our Assistant Leagues Coordinator is an essential part of the success of the different FCA Sports environments. They are the face and the "boots on the ground"; ensuring everything runs smoothly and as a result, players, coaches, volunteers & families have an outstanding experience. Looking for a detailed oriented, responsible & reliable applicant.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Here is a more detailed list on the things you will focus on:

  • Ongoing engagement of convenors, ambassadors, coaches, volunteers, referees & facility workers.
  • Maintain an excellent relationship with the current venues.
  • Execution & management of the different programs and leagues, securing a smooth & efficient experience.
  • Schedule creation of the different leagues.
  • Take regular inventory of equipment.
  • Helping to manage and bringing to the FCA Sports Director any discipline issue that may arise during the season.
  • Assisting with the drop off of uniforms and equipment.
  • Assisting with the painting of lines for the soccer league.
  • Assisting with the set up and tear down of soccer fields (2 weekdays evenings)
  • Assisting with any incidents or injuries or unsportsmanlike incidents that might happen
  • Assisting and providing any information to Ministry Advancement, so devotions are properly shared to the coaches every week for their use.
  • Assisting a weekly meeting with the FCA Sports Team.
  • Assisting the weekly Prayer Time.
  • Assisting to any other meeting that FCA Sports Director or FCA Canada considers necessary.
  • Assisting with other operational and customer experience tasks as needed.
  • Taking photos or videos for social media promotion.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ongoing pursuit of humility - a teachable person.
  • Relational approach to ministry and an ability to communicate successfully with diverse audiences and demographics, both to individuals and groups.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills.
  • Well-developed computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Hardworking attitude.
  • Attention to details and quick learner.
  • Being known for taking initiative.
  • Being confident about approaching, calling or meeting in person, while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must have access to your own vehicle as transporting equipment and supplies is a regular task
